Ordering options, shipping policy, quantity price discounts, and other information:
- Girolami Farms chestnuts and walnuts are sold in increments of 3 pounds.
- Pre-ordering: You are welcome to order in advance. During checkout, please state the date in the comments box in which you would like to receive your products.
- Gift Orders: You have the option to order products as a gift and have them delivered to the gift recipient. You will receive the order confirmation, not the person you are sending the gift to. You can also indicate the text you would like on a gift card by typing it into the Comments box during checkout.
- Quantity Price Discounts: We offer a $0.50 quantity price discount for chestnut and walnut orders between 24 lbs. to 99 lbs. For orders of 100 lbs. or higher, please call or e-mail us for quantity price discounts.
- Shipping Policy:
We normally ship our products on Mondays. If you placed your order by Monday at 1:00 PM (PST), we will ship the order on that day. However, orders placed after this time will be shipped on the following Monday unless other arrangements have been made. All orders are shipped via USPS (Flat Rate or Priority) or UPS (Ground, 3 Day Select, or 2nd Day Air). USPS Flat Rate Service is equivalent to the USPS Priority Service in terms of delivery times (usually within 3-4 days). In order to preserve the freshness of our product and to ensure delivery within the same business week, WE ADVISE THAT CHESTNUT ORDERS BEING SHIPPED EAST OF TX, AR, MO, IL, ND, or WI BE SHIPPED VIA USPS FLAT RATE/PRIORITY OR UPS 3 DAY SELECT /2ND DAY AIR , as UPS Ground delivery to these areas usually take between 5-7 business days.
